Hi Lee, i have a standard 1600 that is dropping oil blowing smoke and making a rattling noise, i have been told you are the person to contact. I am no good with engines and want a turn key for my bus, not sure if you also fit them, would it be possible to give me prices please and any advise is welcome. Thanks David

hi,is it for a bug or a van,also dont fit the engines due to not having enough time at the mo,i cant do a turn key engine for a van due to that hav'nt got a carb or exhaust,but if its for a bug i can do a 95% turnkey engine minus the carb,please ring me on 07855 250256 if you have any questions, cheers lee.

Hi there,

Might be interested in a type 1 engine soon. Recently bought an unchecked 1641, spent some happy weekends adding new bits, alternator, twin 34mm carbs, etc, fitted it only to find it may have a bad oil leak. Unless I can sort, may replace for peace of mind as I want something reliable.

What would you have that would work with my twin 34mms? Can swap over all ancilaries / tinwear but would rather have flywheel and new rear oil seal already fitted.

What have you got, what would the price be and would you be interested in my old motor in p ex? Don't want to go smaller than 1600cc.
