Immaculate fully restored 1967 Beetle for sale
Unfortunately I have to sell my 1967 Beetle. Its a 1500 model which was fully restored with no expense spared in 1996 by Beetle Specialist Workshop. The restoration cost in excess of £6000 and is documented. Since then the car sat in a garage unfinished until I brought it in 2003. It has covered aprox 20,000 miles during my ownership.
When restored the car had pretty much everything replaced:
New floor pans,
Frame head bottom plate,
Both heater channels and A posts,
Complete front 1/4s,
New front valance and front bulkhead areas,
Both rear cross member panels,
Both rear ¼ repairs and rear inner arch/suspension support panels,
Both rear bumper hangers and rear valance.
As you can imagine, there is no welding needed at all and it has also been regularly waxoiled since Ive owned it. All the correct 67 one year only items such as the valance, decklid, door handles, interior switches etc are present. As it is a 1500cc model it has 4 stud disks at the front and drums at the rear. The front is lowered using a stock beam with sway away adjusters, and the rear is lowered by one spline. Porsche Mahle wheels are fitted with 205/70 and 145/70 Firestone F560 tyres. The 1500cc engine is a recon which runs great. It also includes a new dynamo.
The interior is stock (the drivers seat is ripped) with a new headliner and Spirit of the 50s carpets fitted. There is about 6 months remaining on the MOT and I cant see why it should fail the next one.
