1968 Karmann Ghia cabriolet LHD

The Ghia was imported by the current owner 3 years ago from North Charleston USA, where it had been restored to an very high standard after spending many years under cover in a barn. Many invoices for this work are included.
Since being in this country the Ghia has had some work done to bring it up to an even higher standard (no expenses spared!) This includes:
New rear towel rail rear bumper (top quality);
Complete engine overhaul (new battery, distributer, coil and more);
Complete respray of the engine bay and a new firewall;
Complete brake overhaul;
New inertia real front seat belts and rear lap belts;
Plus many more bits and bobs.
At the 2007 International Karmann Ghia Owners Club meeting, it was awarded best Cabriolet by the club members.
The 1500 engine runs superb and the car has been used for many long distance trips including one to Jersey last year without any problems at all. The hood fit is A1 and also includes a matching cover for when its down (not photographed). The interior is in excellent condition with any rips tears or marks (check out the pics). The under side is completely solid and the car overall requires no work whats so ever. The car is kept in a heated garage at all times.
This is a rare chance to own a near perfect example Karmann Ghia Cabriolet. It is stunning.
