I bought this a few months ago with the intention of giving it the same looks as the limo and using it to tow the limo to shows. Unfortunately, fund's are now too low to finish it (fecking splitty's
), so it has to go.
It's a UK RHD T25 Crewcab MOT'd 'til May 1st 09 and Taxed 'til the end of the year, it's had a 1.9 Diesel engine fitted from a MK3 Golf showing 68k and a recon gearbox (although at the minute, the linkage is playing up so it's a bugger to get reverse, but this will be sorted within the next week).When the engine was fitted it had a new cambelt, oil, filter's, clutch, battery etc... It start's 1st time, everytime and with this engine it pull's really well and drive's faultlessly with good fuel economy (about 40-45mpg). It's mechanically faultless.
It has a few dent's and dings nothing major. The only place's of rust, are in the cab door steps and around the fuel filler, the seam's are pretty much rust free and loadbed is good. It also has a square headlamp set up from a Caravelle. The rear windows are factory and the rear bench seat is also there matching the front seat's and uncut doorcard's (these will get a jolly good clean next week too).
It also has a towbar.
Good winter project or use as is.
I cannot speak more highly of how this thing drive's and wish i could've finshed it off.
