1988 slammed ratty 1.6 petrol mk1 caddy

i really don't want to do this but here goes...

for sale is my 1988 E reg 1.6 petrol mk1 caddy. its been my daily for the last year and a half an i have loved every minute of it. i've been to brighton and back to the midlands about 10 times and been to various shows in it and never had any problems.

i've done quite a bit to it since i got it:
clutch release bearing and push rod
distributor cap
points
condenser
plugs
coilovers
flipped axle (exchange one from al)
rear shocks
mk2 gti seats
polo steering wheel
german plates (originals will come with it)
wooden effect vinyl down the sides
wooden effect vinyl flooring in the back

it's also got a load liner and some funky ass rails. a good solid car with only a couple of holes in the front arches.

it's got tax till the end of september and mot till october 10th

i love this car and will be sad to see it go, it's a real head turner

price is £1500 on standards as i want to keep the cups

to be honest i have never taken the load liner out so i don't know what it's like underneath. it was on my to do list but i've now decided to get my mk1 golf done. what sort of offer are we talking? it's always worth a try

it all depends on the bed really bud as they are the hardest thing to sort out any chance you could remove it an get some pics as I'm seriously interested ! Cheers , kev
