Just had the booking forms for Club Camping @ Vanfest in the post.
I know my thoughts. would like to hear other peoples thoughts!
and I'd like to add a pretty serious poll for once!
Option A:-I'm ok with their new policy on club camping and would be happy for my club to camp in designated club camping area, and would happily police our area and will be able to do a full Risk Assesment.
Option B:- I believe the onus should be on the organisors who have already taken PLI for the show and as a show goer, I'm there to enjoy myself, not worry about H&S and Risk assesments, after all, I'm paying about £40 per person for the privelege of attending in the first place.
Definitely B. I'll be happy to go to general camping or boycott the show full stop & go to Woolacombe for a week which would cost about the same!!!!

why would you wanna go to a show and have to keep an eye on everyone in your plot! option b all the way! show time equals fun time!
especially when you see what(who!?!?!) normally ends up camping with our lot!!
also to add, that if you are a club and have taken out Public Liability Insurance and haven't followed correct procedure with your risk assesment and someone hurts themselves within your deignated area, you are then totally liable and they are free to sue your sorry ass!
btw, don't let that last comment in any way swing your vote

would be a good idea but it's not everyone who can arrive at the same time and getting yer mate to try and save you a space in General Camping at Vanfest is about as much use a tits on a fish!
