Is it a good idea??

Im thinking of buying a mint Bay Camper and starting a business hiring it out for holidays..I know there are companies already doing it out there but I think it would be a good business....What does anyone else think?

It could be very lucrative. There is a company in Wales that started this last year and 100% Slow in the East Midlands as well.

Don't know what the insurance would be like and whether you'd need a "Hire and Reward" licence from the PCO.

It could be a winner, but i'd be paranoid about it breaking down (as we all know they do) or them damaging it

100% slow no longer do the hiring so you would have the monoply here in the mids

But you gotta ask....WHY did they stop hiring? There might be a damn good reason for it...

they did this on the holiday programe last year worked out to about Â£600 a week to hire

but it will be only summer work and you would need a backup van to replace in the event of accident or breakdown (or efund there cash)

reckon unless you get some super reliable vans then you'll end up with heaps of problems, you've got to think that alot of the people hiring them will be non vw people that want one cosit's trendy and will expect it to drive / perform like a modern car!

I could barely trust my own to make it down to cornwall and back without needing some attention yet alone with some numpty driving it
