T4 awning problem

We have a 91 T4,we have bought a drive away Tunnel awning like the ones Just campers sell. The van has no gutters so traditional plastic awning rail is no use for attching the 2 together.I rang Just Campers today and after much debate they decided they don't supply anything to do the job, even though the pics in their catalogue show a T4 with awning attached.I was told to look on internet for the answer,.........!

but they are for frame poles to go in to,the drive away awning don't have poles that attach to van, just the skirt with rope sewn in.JC did suggest these cups to start with then decided that they wouldn't do the job, something I had already worked out. Thanks anyway.

Just a thought but is the pole missing?
Does it look as if you could put a pole through the edge of the skirt?

reimo!!

reimo in manchester do a great rubber moulding that fits to your roof permanently, and the skirt with the rope sewn in slides into this moulding! its about £85 i think, and well worth it as it seals the awning to the roof so no water ingress is possible!! wish i'd seen it when i owned my t4!!! Pretty sure we could fit it for you if you like!! good luck!
