DOOR SEALS

For some strange reason one of the previous owners of my bug has put fibreglass doors, thats right, fibreglass doors on to it.
Ok, they'll never rust but they do leak water in around the windows, which ruins the door panels, and water comes in around the door as there's no door seals and my old ones wont fit it cuz they wont hold standard seals.
Has anyone else come across this problem before?
Can I get seals for these type of doors?

The steel doors let in water between the outer scraper and the glass too, if you make sure there is the sheet of polythene fixed on the door behind the door card that should stop the problem.

As for door seals, your probably going to have to be creative and cut down normal seals and glue them in with evostik or similar.

My mate has had to be imaginative with seals around his doors & bonnet.

He found seals that worked for him at:

www.woolies-trim.co.uk

They do a wide selection of rubber seals and if you give them a call or email then they should send you a few samples before you part with your cash.
