Waxoyl/Rust-Proofing (Stoke area)

Anyone know of an local companies (Stoke company) that offer a good yet affordable Waxoyl/Rust-Proofing service? Seen one company who are quoting prices from £360+VAT - seems excessive as underside of car looks in good condition (it is a Mexibug on a '53 plate!!) .

Any thoughts on whether Waxoyl is the best option or should I be looking for something else/better? Read a few things that suggest Dinitrol - but which type??

Cheers, Mexibug

ok ... serious answer :-)

they 'black' the bottom with bituminous type paint usually..... but remember the bottom is 10mm thick and they 're-black' every 2 to 4 years

Re: Waxoyl/Rust-Proofing (Stoke area)

Got my MOT sorted so back on the rust-proofing.

Spotted the attached on samba.com. Are there any other areas that I should focus on? Any hints/tips? Is there any thing I need to blank off to stop the interior, etc of my car getting covered???
