They've more than paid off

Seen a nice little gravity bandsaw for a couple of hundered. Might end up picking one up. Got to re-do a few cuts as I keep changing my mind about the chassis lol.

Hi mate
Awesome work so far.
With regards to that front end, do you buy Custom Car magazine?
In the April 2007 issue, in the "Hot bits" section, they featured an IFS kit marketed by a company called Autopower and Custom, for a Ford Pop.
It comes in at £750 for a full kit minus shocks, but it is an awesome looking kit.
They state that, although the crossmember is laser cut to fit a Pop chassis, they do custom widths. Sadly they haven't got a website, but their number is 01604 464114.
Well worth a look rather than shipping in from the states.
If I was building a rod or racer I'd use it. Plus the hubs are early Ford (cortina) pattern so wheel choice will be greater.

I'd heard about that ad before but no-one knew what issue it was from & I couldn't find it etc.

Was it a coilover/a-arm setup ? I thought it was running struts (no use to me if it is).

Have already ordered this kit from the states. Should work out to around £1,300 (complete, shocks, crossmember, rack, brakes, a arms, dropped spindles etc) ish once it's here but it's the kit that the chassis suppliers (the one I got the plans from) uses and I know all the parts work with the setup i'm doing. Cheers though

Plus, the wheels i'm going for are US Ford 5 stud pattern anyway

Yeah it is a coilover/A arm set up, with steering rack and everything except the coilovers.
Not to worry.
