Reconditioned vw beetle/camper 1600 T/P engine

based on a duel oil releif AS41 case in very good condition with no end float,

micropolished crank,

new crank bearings,

new big ends,

new oil pump,

stock cam & followers with new cam bearings,

new piston rings,barrels checked & honed out,

reconditioned heads for unleaded fuel,

built with all new gaskets,seals & crank seal,

£410 & your old engine may be taken as part exchange.....

Interested in your reconditioned engine/s. Currently working on my own and wondered what the price would be for reconditioned cylinder heads or alternatively a reconditioned engine with mine as part exchange?

hi,what engine have you got to exchange & what sort of price are you looking at for your engine,i can recondition your heads no problem at all but the time you've dropped them off you might be better of getting them done nearer to yourself due to the ditance you've got to travel??,
i can do you a fully reconditioned engine for £420,price on exchange depends on condition/size & price of your old engine.

Hi Lee

The engine is a type 3 1600 twin port head, carburettor. The case is sound but there is a bit of wear on the cylinders and valve guides. Nuneaton's not that far so would be good to pop up and see what you can do for us.

Where abouts are you and when would be good to visit? A saturday is better for us.
