vw 1303 convertable job lot for repair

My mate has gave me vague details of his stuff he is selling :

the job lot is a 1303 n reg convertable beetle.

MOT till august and tax till then.

problem is the nearside trailing arm thing on the wheel has snapped :

these can be found 2nd hand and fitted easily.

the car has got A recently aquired 1600cc engine, brand new tuckawayexhaust and manifold, and a new starter fitted.

there is also the old 1300 engine, that needs a rebuild, new fron light and surround.

think he took the engine and gearbox out, so its all going as a job lot trailer away,

he has 2 spare doors and a spare bonnet that he never got round to changing.

he wants 550 for the lot, thats for everything, the car was running and on the road 3 weeks ago till the thing snapped. its a bit ratty tatty, but everything is there and more :

to recap :

few months tax and mot,
broken arm, easy to replace/repair
good 1600 engine
new starter
new tuckaway and manifold exhaust
spare 1300 to rebuild at ur lesuire
2 doors and bonnet

all ready to be taken away, so in reflect, you are buying a 1600 engine,gearbox and exhaust and starter for 550,about going rate, and ending up with a repairable beetle, with spare doors and bonnet!!!
