GPII SWB beach buggy project for sale as I will never get round to sorting it out.
What you get is basically everything you need to build a good GPII including full weather gear.
Chassis- I have 2 SWB chassiss, one is on a Q plate the other is a K plate. When I first got her she was on the Q plate chassis but it looked a bit naff and I had to pay road tax, so I found the K reg chassis with brand new floor pans and hat and tax free.
The K reg chassis is rolling on a adjustable front beam with disc brakes, 14 weller wheels all with good tread, good wide rears and narrow fronts for that buggy look.
Body- its a GPII SWB in dark blue, the paint work is good and with a bit of a polish would look fine but while its off it could be easily painted (I can sort this out if needed at extra cost about £300). The inside will need to be rubbed back as it had carpet set glued in which has left its mark.
The screen is fitted and so is the fuel tank and she has brand new chrome finish elephants feet rear lights.
Weather gear- It was made by a gut who use to work for Rolls Royse and it shows, its very very well made and has superb Westfield type opening doors.
Other bits- There is a brand new wiring loom, a roll cage which is front and rear bars and a middle bar and side bars, dash board and gauges, steering column with a 10 steering wheel, Scat shifter, 1200cc engine I have no idea what condition its in, spare gearbox with axels, plus other bits and bobs I have around the place.
I paid £2000 for it last year and found out the chassis was knackered around the hat so brought the 2nd chassis for £400 so really it owes me £2400.
Ill put some pics up tomorrow evening as on a training course all day
.
Price £1600ono
Buggy is in Kingswinford, post code DY6 0BG
Here are some pics at last.
The engine in the pic is not the 1200cc that comes with it its a 1776cc which I could be talked into selling
and the chassis againt the wall is the other one that come with it.
Nothing is bolted down its all just resting in place
