Up for sale is my 1985 s2. Shes got a 4.7 litre V8 which had a full service in january along with brake pad change and a new fuel pump. Engine is faultless and the automatic gearbox is sharp and responsive.
This month ive replaced both rear tyres which are goodyear f1's 285/30 R18. front tyres in good condition 225/40 R18. Wheels are off a carrera which have been refurbed and have a matching blue swirl painted on them. Unfortunately theres a few kurb marks on them now.
Back windows have been filled to give the back end of the car a smoothed look. The spoiler has been removed and the rear wiper. Topped off with the GTS rear lights and custom rear bumper it looks the nuts. Exhasut has been modified with tailpipes coming out the centre, Sounds amazing!
Car has been lowered which makes speedbumps a problem. Unfortunately i didnt see one till late so theres a crack in the front passengers side corner of the nose. Also had an accident with the bonnet so has been replaced with a white one. It actually looks quite good like it. No other bodywork faults.
Interior has cream electric leather seats. Drivers seat moves in every way but unfortunately the passengers doesnt move at all. Sunroof doesnt open, can hear the motor moving but sunroof doesnt. Electric windows work although drivers window only goes up 90% the way. Has to be pushed the remainder by hand. Again the motor is fine as window always works, must be a jam in the mechanism.
Has a kenwood cd player, pair of 6X9's in front doors, pair of 6" in the back panels and an alpine sub with 1000watt amp in the spare wheel well. Nice sound without being ott!
Has a clifford alarm immobiliser which control central locking from remote, not sure on model but nice to know.
Has 2 warning lights permanently on, one saying brake pads, other saying belt tension. Both of these faults are sensor problems as brakes have been changed and work fine, belts also are fine.
Ive tried to mention every fault with the car. She is 23 years old so in comparison with many cars of that age shes in good condition.
Please dont let these small faults put you off as with a little time and effort on the car it could be immaculate once again.
Comes with 7 months MOT and 2 months tax.
