My 1972 tax exempt bug for sale.
Restored and rebuilt, resprayed by Outermotive in Sep 08. Slammed with camber. Brand new Fuch replica with Porsche badges, 4 brand new tyres, new interior carpet, all new towel rail bumpers and deluxe trim, new front lamps with chrome eyelids, recently undersealed, colour matched petrol tank, carpeted under bonet, Brand new USB stereo (Blaupunkt £250)
Now for the ever so slightly bad bit.
Just two weeks after waiting nearly a year for the car to be built, a lovely old chap in a micra decided to park into the back of my cherished bug, which created a little damage: there is a slight dent in the off side rear wheel arch that can be tapped out, very slight dent in the rear vallance which can be pulled out easily also. The most damage was to the rear towel which will need replacing.
The car has been dry stored in friend garage ever since the bump, with the view to getting it repaired and back on the road ready for the spring however, the birth of a new child has meant finances have been spent elsewhere...
The car will not start but is most likely the starter motor needing a smack...
Those of you from Arden club will have seen the car and know that at £2500, it is a steal.
I have spent nearly 4k on this car and have driven it a handful of times.
No offers but would be willing to swap for decent Mk 1 golf cab if anyone interested?
