I bought this car about 6 months ago. It had recently been recommissioned after a few years off the road. I have since replaced a few more parts where problems became apparent after starting to use the car again.

In summary, recent new parts include:

Brand new fuel tank (£170) and fuel filler-neck (modified mk.1 Golf item)
Brand new Weber carb (£200)
Rear brakes cleaned and new wheel cylinders
Both front wheel bearings replaced
O/S bottom ball joint replaced and new CV gaiter
New cambelt & tensioner
New front to rear fuel lines
Brand new lowering springs (original dampers)
Braided fuel hoses and copper brake pipes
New distributor cap and rotor
New HT leads
Oil and filter service
New boot lock seal

It has very low ownership from new and a complete service history, including receipts for everything I've done to the car in the time I've had it.

It's now running on a set of Montreal alloy wheels in reasonable condition, with matching budget tyres with decent tread. I have the original steel wheels, but they are in rather poor condition, hence the change.

The bodywork is very presentable with a few stone chips and a couple of scratches here and there that have been touched in. There's no significant rust or dents that I can find.

The original radio cassette is fitted and the whole interior is in very good shape, consistent with its low mileage.
