Can't think of how to word this so here goes. I have a 1980 2 litre aircooled engine. The nearside carb has a valve attached to stop the engine running on when the ignition switches off. The thread on the pipe has worn and it is letting in air and running weak. This is causing misfires etc. Can I get just the pipe or do I need to replace the whole carb? If anyone can tell me exactly what this piece is called that would also be useful.
take the pipe off,buy a new length,replace
check other side aswell

Cheers for that, I've also been told that maybe use some sealant on the thread, so I'll give that a go first, after all, if the threads gone and this doesn't work the pipe's got to to go anyway.
