Re: loosing power

Hi,this happened to me,not so long ago ,turned out to be the fuel pump, had started to play up,
changed it and it was back to normal,
the only problem is the manifold icing till its warmed up, but it is -2 in the mornings,
theres always easy start sprayed into the carb, its cruel but if it dont try to start then its not a fuel stave problem
p.s easy start is very very flamable so be very careful read the can first.

Re: loosing power

fixed!! Thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions.
Turns out it was the rotor arm in the distributor. And the choke sticking wasn't helping. (That was the non starting) The manifold is warming up evenly so doesn't appear to be icing either, but now have a new air filter on with warm air hose which should be better anyway. Carb's fine too, and so far so good! thanks to Rob from Retro Auto in Dawley for sorting it, a good garage.
