Bought a 1972 1303 this time last year as something to play with.
It turned out it wasn't the gem we thought and needed major resto. It had to have the floor patched up (very badly) to pass an MOT. With the MOT due again in march we have a full resto planned.
Its going in for welding very soon at Stealths. Costing around £1700 for a new floor and heater channels. Once thats done a whole new loom is going in and the bodywork is getting patched up.
Its stripped down and ready for welding now.
As you can see the floor and foot wells are nothing to be proud of.
We have a 1600 Twin port to go in it when we get all the tinwear for it. So she should be brand new by summer with a bit of luck.
When the next bit of money comes along its going to get the disc conversion on the front then some twin carbs.
