perforated stainless and rockwool couple of internal laberynth baffles and jobs a gooden
Failing that, just wrap some cherry bombs in stainless mesh
check the yank suppliers, I have 3'' on my trans-am
yearh i can make one ,but im thinking of useing 3 ovel shaped 3inch boxes in line and a mesh cover ,,, just just so it dosent buzz in my ears when driveing as sometimes u get that engine tone which drowns ,,,and has to quite enoeh for mot and and so i can hear for any noises and ,,i have to hear my turbo whistel too lmao
i droped on a matching pair of ovel long boxs with 3inch in and out lets ,,but realised they would work a treat but after doing a trail fit ,they would be very close to the ground ,,,grrr ,but would be perfect to kill that engine noise
it looks close but i did check this and theres over a 1 and half clearance when the wheels turn and 3inch with wheels straight ,,,so theres no change of a tyre blowing at speed ... once the heat wrap arives that will save lots of eccess heat and burning [paint i reckon lol
small update ,,i had a problem with the engine which tuck most of the dam day to solove as my injectors stuck open ,after a changing some wireing and settings on the standalone ecu ,i got the chuff to idiol and rev ,at last ,still in the early stages but its all progress i reckon ,,videos a bit dark and horried alti belt makeing a noise but u can hear the buggar lol

finished the brak pipes and fittings and the bit of welding i missed
the exhaust was rubbing so ,the only way was make some room
and needed a few patchers on the rear pannel too ,evern thow i was tempted to chop the lot out and make a bit more room
and had time to still a patch on the rear bed ,as i was going to rip the lot out ,,but ,that more months of messing ,so ,,,that can be for another day ,,
