Now get some seam sealer in the inside joint and some paint (proper paint not just primer and sand off the black stuff first) on asap or you'll be replacing it again next year!

Reckon your right to be chuffed tho, the good thing is that rear arches are a peice of piss compared to a front panel as they line up much more easily!

yeah bit more tidying up to do ,then i will sand it down and paint . got it under a sheet at the moment , as you can see i have to dodge the weather

ali is looking forward to it being finished (she will have to wait a bit yet
bean really gets stuck in , have to slow him down at times or it would be in bits on the drive keep telling him one thing at a time

Good job done

Well done, Pete,

that celebration ciggy smells oh so good.

Word/s of advice:- Don't let Telford and Wrekin Council see you're using their wheelybin as a workbench or their recycling box as a parts store, the bastards in Business Revenues Dept will send you an invioce.

Don't get me wrong, I've nothing against the money-grabbing twats.

If there is any local help you need, just shout, (any cost will be put on your mates bill !! )

no joke a couple of years ago had a council fella tell me i couldn't fix my van on the drive , won't go into it too much but after a few words he was escorted off my drive and never returned again

also may quiz you for some advice from time to time mate on more bits that i will be doing over the winter

bring this back to the top as i have been taking a little anger out on the van this weekend
makes you feel so much better taking a lump hammer to something and thrashing it around
today we have been cutting out the cab floor as it had been patched many times over the years and it wasn't pretty and prob not very safe either ,chopped all the shite out on the passenger side and fitted a nice shiny new panel

here we go me doing a bit of welding around the front of the floor panel and then the second pic is two sides welded, around the step area isn't welded as i am cutting all that out and replacing it was just using the old step as a guide as schofield have not sent me the outer part of the step. now looks alot better than the patchwork quilt that was under there before

Fantastic, its so satisfying chopping out the patches and having a nice clean complete panel in there instead! Keep it up!

started on the otherside today , bit more difficult as there seems to be three pedals and a steering wheel which i keep banging my head off
cut all the rot out that was easy enough but the repair panel on that side was way off didn't fit anywhere really so i had to bend cut and re-shape it to fit , took alot longer than the otherside but i have now got it into place and tacked in so the hard work is done and now i have just got to weld it all in .
next up is the steps when the outers arrive i can cut those out and replace them then we should be pretty solid on the front after that it is the rear arches
lets hope the weather stays dry for a few weekends and the nights start drawing out
